DANCE AND MUSICAL THEATRE
Alfie Lewis studied Dance and Musical Theatre at North Kent College from 2021 to 2023. Just a year later he is working onboard a cruise ship travelling to some of the most exotic parts of the world! Here he tells us more.
Why did you choose North Kent College?
Because I knew the training I would receive would benefit me so I decided to apply.
What would you say were the best three things about studying at North Kent College?

How has North Kent College helped your career?
I trained for two years professionally and while I was in my second year I booked my first professional job onboard Celebrity Cruises as a Production Cast Dancer.
Where do you now work and what’s next for you?
I am currently travelling on the Celebrity Millennium cruise ship around Asia, visiting countries from Japan all the way over to Thailand, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. I will continue to work professionally.
Would you recommend studying at the College and why?
It is a great starting place for your career and both the education and staff are exceptional.
Describe your whole college experience and how it has enabled you to progress.
My college teachers enabled me to become to professional dancer I am today.
What would be the piece of advice you would give to someone thinking of coming to college or specifically coming to North Kent College?
If you think it will make you happy, do it!
