BTEC LEVEL 4 HNC AND BTEC LEVEL 5 HND IN COMPUTING
Arun studied both the Level 4 and Level 5 qualification in Computing, and credits the College with playing a "pivotal role" in his future. He tells us more.
Whilst I am now a cyber security postgraduate attending Imperial College, my academic journey started at North Kent College studying Computing HNC and HND. I really appreciated the teaching standard at the College, alongside its superb facilities and the fact it had the latest computing technology and software.
Thanks to the my lecturers, I did not only receive invaluable skills and computing knowledge, but I was provided with exceptional guidance regarding my education and career pathway. Recognising that programming was not my strong suit, one of my lecturers advised that I consider cyber security and that I continue my education at university with a top-up degree. My lecturers really helped me find my career pathway.
As a result, I graduated from the University of East London acquiring my Bachelor’s Degree and I was accepted to study at Imperial College London for my Masters Degree. I have also received strong interest from companies such as BT, SJP and a handful of fintech companies.
North Kent College has played a pivotal role in my future, not only in my education but on my approach to challenges and personal development.
