Our students are highly motivated to succeed and this is encouraged by the high expectations of our tutors. Keeping the curriculum active and varied enables students to experience a broad range of learning activities so you progress well. Our Ofsted results reinforce the idea that our students do make better than expected progress and this is down to their motivation to succeed, coupled with supportive teaching and an adult learning environment.

Equivalent of A Levels

All of our Level 3 courses are the equivalent of A Levels and give you the UCAS points to apply to university.

Professional Industry Placements

Our tutors work successfully to ensure that you develop your skills in realistic work situations, making use of high-quality facilities and resources, enabling students to learn to work to industry standards. These facilities include our commercial areas where students work in real environments, including our salons, restaurants, Miskin Theatre and Miskin Spa.

Progression routes

We actively promote progression from our FE programmes onto university programmes which raises aspirations. We continuously educate and empower our students to consider Higher Education as a valuable progression route into their desired career.
