Game Artist
The job of a game artist is to create art, storyboards and designs for new games. They also play a part in designing trailers and marketing materials. They work as part of a team on lots of different elements and projects including characters, environments, and assets such as weapons.
Audio Engineer
Audio Engineers play a key role in creating the soundtrack, sound effects and character voices in games. To work in this role technical understanding of audio recording equipment and software is essential but they also need to be imaginative to create the audio aspects in games.
Game Developer
The developer is responsible for creating the code required to build the game created by the artists. They are in charge of bringing the creative vision to life as part of a team. A knowledge of game programming languages and specialisation in a particular platform, such as PC, mobile or consoles is vital.
Animator
As an animator at a games company, they are responsible for animating the characters and other elements within the games. This requires creativity and ability to create the vision of the artist whilst expressing individual style.
