On the 10th December the student union are holding a Winter Celebration to tie in with Christmas Jumper day, there will be free mince pies and hot chocolate! This will be taking place from 10am-11am at our Gravesend Reception and from 1pm-2pm at the Atrium at the Dartford Campus. We can’t wait to see you there in your Christmas jumpers!
Samaritan Christmas Appeal
We are proud to say that Dartford Health & Social Care students decided to support the Samaritan Christmas Appeal 2021 and brought in different items to fill boxes to send overseas to children living in poor communities, so they have a present to open Christmas Day. We are proud that our students and support from the cafeteria staff filled 14 boxes to send abroad. Some of our students delivered these boxes to The Entertainer Bluewater where they will be picked up and delivered to children in need. Well done to everyone involved!
Travel and Tourism Student Christmas Fair
Students from the Travel Department are holding a Christmas Fair on 8th December from 11:30am - 3:00pm for their Level 3 Second Years Conference & Events Assignment. The Christmas Fair will be taking place outside the Atrium at our Dartford Campus.
The Christmas fair will consist of stalls filled with food, hot drinks, games, grand raffle, and Christmas music. All staff and students running the fair will be wearing festive wear to celebrate the festive season.
The fair will not only celebrate Christmas, but also raise money for a local charity called BEAMS, which is a local charity situated in Hextable that supports disabled children, young people and their families. Make the most of this opportunity to have some festive fun and support an amazing cause!
