Students on stage in play, with several dressed as rodents

Today (Sunday 8 September) is National Actors' Day, a day dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the talent, dedication, and creativity of actors everywhere, whether they are on stage or screen.

If you have your heart set on becoming an actor, then there is no better place to study than North Kent College. Our highly acclaimed Miskin Theatre, situated at our Dartford and Tonbridge campuses, has been graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for 21 years!

Our industry professional theatres and studios provide the perfect environment to train in your chosen specialism and our team of professionals will offer you training which is unrivalled in the country.

A whole host of professional actors have studied acting at the Miskin Theatre, including Gemma Arteton.

Her first film role came in the 2007 film St Trinian’s, before she came to the public’s attention the following year in the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

Since then Arteton has remained in constant work, and runs her own production company, Rebel Park Productions, which focuses on creating female-led content in front of and behind the camera.

If you would like to follow in her footsteps you can find out more by visit the Acting course page on the North Kent College website or visit the Miskin Theatre website.
