An industry that holds some of the most recognisable names and faces can sometimes only be considered for their talent on the pitch. Surprisingly, we can ensure you that majority of footballers have qualified in either Further or Higher education courses!

1. Andres Iniesta
The 37-year-old Spanish midfielder has studied Biology and Sports Science together at university since 2009.
2. Juan Mata
Manchester United's Juan Mata is a highly educated scholar who holds two degrees from the Universidad Camilo Jose Cela, one in Sports Science and another in Marketing.
3. Edwin van der Sar
The former Manchester United and Holland keeper gained a sports management degree after his sporting carer!
4. Clark James Carlise
The former England international has two degrees, one from Staffordshire University in Sports Journalism.
We offer football opportunities for male and female players to train and play in structured leagues. In 2021 a new partnership with PUMA teamwear as our official sponsor as well as Science in Sport (SIS) to provide high quality training wear and recovery products to maintain high performance through the season.
The aim of the scheme is to attract students between the ages of 16 and 18 who are football enthusiasts and want to improve both their academic qualifications and their progression in football.
