Today (Monday 15th April) is world art day, a day to celebrate many different forms of creativity. Art is not just something to look at in a gallery, it is also a form of therapy for many and encourages self-expression in a different way to talking.

Art Therapy is also a recognised psychological therapy and is used promote general wellbeing to people of all ages and is regularly used to treat depression and low mood, especially if the issues are hard to articulate.
