COURSE CONTENT
Introduction:
Recent information provided by the Health and Safety Executive, states that around 15 people a year are killed whilst undertaking work in confined spaces. Many of the deaths occur whilst employees attempt to rescue fellow workers who have become unconscious in an irrespirable atmosphere, thus becoming the second or third casualty.
Entry Requirements:
This course is predominantly intended for practical users who need to enter spaces which are substantially enclosed and where there is a potentially hazardous working environment. It would also benefit Managers, Supervisors, Engineers etc (who may have needed to control work in these locations) as an addition to the Confined Spaces Risk Assessors Course. All delegates should be physically fit, as an entry exercise will be carried out.
