Prepare for a career in the Motorcycle Industry as either a technician or associated Motor Industry employment.
You will discover how to meet health and safety requirements in the workshop and learn how to:

Carry out routine motorcycle maintenance
- Remove and replace units and components relating to engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes and electrical and electronic systems
You will be assessed by practical and written tasks and externally set examinations.
Supported work experience is arranged with your tutor.

Entry Requirements
You will need four GCSEs at Grades D/3 or above, including English and Maths. Alternatively, a Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance with D/3 GCSE in English and maths or functional skills Level 2.

What costs are involved?
Tuition Fees: 16-18 - free 19+ - £1650 Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £125 This course may also attract additional costs, for example, kit, uniform, trips or books, that all students will be required to pay. Please contact the College for further details.

How will I be assessed?
By practical tests to illustrate competence and by multi-choice examination questions to demonstrate underpinning knowledge. A portfolio of evidence is also needed which requires written statements of support knowledge.
