Computing and IT is one of the ever changing and fastest growing industries in the UK.

Our course is an industry recognised, vocational qualification in Computing & IT. Covering a wide range of knowledge and skills in computing, including the principles of computer science, programming using object-oriented based languages, web development, animation and graphic design, and systems analysis and design.

The course will provide you with the technical skill and theoretical knowledge to further your career to higher education, apprenticeship or jobs.

The course equips you with current IT skill and knowledge and develops communication skills, logical thinking, time management and independent research, along with interpersonal skills such as organisation and communication.

  • What qualification will I gain?

  • Entry Requirements

    Our learners are required to have five GCSEs at Grades 9-4, including English and Maths. Or a Level 2 in a relevant subject at Pass plus GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or above.

  • What progression options will I have?

    This course prepares our learners for the working environment. Some choose to use their skills within the work place. However, the majority choose to study further within higher education.

  • What costs are involved?

    Tuition Fees: 16-18 - free 19+ Advanced Learning Loan - £8575 Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £270 This course may also attract additional costs, for example, kit, uniform or books, that all students will be required to pay.     Assessments take place in various ways including practical assessments, projects, written assessments and online exams.
