  • What qualification will I gain?

    Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice (Game Design)

  • Entry Requirements

    Minimum of 5 GCSEs in grades 9-4, including English and Maths. Or Level 2 Qualification or an equivalent in Creative Media at Merit or above with English and Maths grade 4 or above.

    You will also be given an interview task when you apply, which you must bring to your interview.

    A portfolio of work is recommended but not required.

  • What progression options will I have?

    Once you have completed the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Practice, you could progress onto one of the following:

    University Employment Apprenticeship

  • What costs are involved?

    Tuition Fees: 16-18 - free 19+ Advanced Learning Loan - £7375 Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £270 This course may also attract additional costs, for example, kit, uniform or books, that all students will be required to pay. Please contact the College for further details.

  • How will I be assessed?

    Throughout Year 1 and Year 2, you will work on graded projects to develop your creative and technical skills, leading to a final project at the end of the year.

    All coursework is assessed internally, with grades awarded at Pass, Merit, or Distinction.
