The aims of the qualification are to:

  • Inspire and enthuse learners to consider a career in the Creative Digital Media Production sector.

  • Allow learners to gain broad knowledge and understanding and develop skills in the Creative Digital Media Production sector.

  • Support progression to specialised Level 3 qualifications in Creative Digital Media Production or an Apprenticeship.

  • Give learners the potential opportunity to enter employment in a wide range of job roles in due course.
