Bright Beginnings Nursery is celebrating a clean sweep of outstanding gradings at its recent Ofsted inspection.
The childcare provider, which is based at North Kent College’s Dartford Campus, got an overall rating of Outstanding, as well as scoring Outstanding in all four sub-sections of the report.
The report delivered a series of glowing tributes to both staff and children, at what it called an ‘outstanding setting’, saying ‘children are greeted by exceptionally enthusiastic staff’ whose ‘caring and passionate nature immediately puts children at ease’.
The inspector also noted that ‘children clearly demonstrate that they feel very happy and safe in the wonderful environment that has been created by the dedicated staff team’ and that ‘the skilled staff team support children exceptionally well to learn how to understand their emotions. They adapt their teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of children’.
Behaviour was noted as being ‘excellent’, with the report saying ‘children are highly motivated and demonstrate an enthusiasm to learn. They play in harmony with each other as they share resources and take turns’.
As well as being rated as Outstanding overall, Bright Beginnings was also rated as Outstanding in all four categories reviewed by Ofsted: the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management.
