Our Level 2 Media Makeup students used two global events recently to inspire some creative makeup looks.
Thursday 7 March was World Book Day, with students recreating a makeup look based upon a book character they had been influenced by. The following day, Friday 8 March, was International Women’s Day, which they used for similar inspiration.
Student Mia Fuller Hawkes explains how her design was inspired by someone very close to her, saying: “When I think of women, I always think of the colour red. My mum has worn red lipstick all of my life, so when I think of an amazing, strong women I think of her and her red lipstick.”
