The visual talents of North Kent College students are set to be showcased at a Tunbridge Wells based exhibition highlighting the creativity of local residents over the next three months.

The Level 1 Art students have been chosen to have their work displayed at the ‘Your Work Here’ exhibition, which is set to run at the Amelia Scott Library from Friday (14 February) to the 1 June.

The open exhibition is specifically for anyone living, working or studying in the TN postcode area, whether they are an emerging talent or an already established artist, and aims to highlight the rich artistic talent in the area.

Kelly Christmas, Lecturer in Art at North Kent College, said: “The ‘Your Work Here’ Exhibition is a really exciting opportunity for the Level 1 Art students, which is likely to be their first public exhibition showcasing their work. There has been some great work submitted including painting, printmaking, sewing and collage. I am so proud of all the students and what they have achieved so far on the course.”

Entrance to exhibition is free, and it is open during the building’s normal opening hours. To find out more visit the Amelia Scott website.
