North Kent College recently attended and sponsored the Dartford Business Awards held at Bluewater, hosted by Dartford Borough Council on October 10th, 2024.
These awards are dedicated to recognising, rewarding, and celebrating achievements in the local business community. There are several different awards categories, all free to enter and designed to cater for every size of business, from the smallest to the largest in the borough.
North Kent College students and apprentices came away with multiple wins on the evening :

Hope West, Head of Apprenticeships said of the wins “We are absolutely delighted that a staggering number of 9 students and apprentices from North Kent College were awarded the “Young Person of the Year Award” at Dartford Business Awards. The students and apprentices are such a credit to both the college and their employers. They’ve gone from strength to strength through their learning Journey, it is testament to their hard work, determination, and their willingness to succeed has not gone unnoticed, I am sure this amazing group of young individuals will have amazing careers in their chosen career.”
