North Kent College had the pleasure of welcoming Lee Stafford to Dartford & Gravesend campuses to inspire students and award a staff member for their hard work.
Lee Stafford Education work North Kent College on their delivery of a curriculum offer which is commercial, inspiring and transformational. They provide 24 Level 2, 3 and Standards specific recipes, and the package of support which sits alongside them, allow partner colleges to develop region-wide reputations as the ‘go to’ place for hairdressing training.
Upon arrival at North Kent College, Lee hosted a workshop at the Dartford campus and then travelled over to the Gravesend campus to demonstrate a Pixie Cut to hairdressing students and provide Hairdressing Lecturer, Jenny Brooker with her BIG 10 certificate.
A BIG 10 is achieved when a stylist becomes a “Master Trainer” by creating all 22 Lee Stafford hair recipes to perfection which are then videoed and graded by Lee Stafford Education. Jenny was presented with a pair of gold scissors and her certificate joining the rest of the North Kent College staff cohort of Master Trainers who all ensure students get the best training possible.
Jenny said “We had an excellent afternoon. Lee was inspirational as always and we are very appreciative of the support the College and Lee and his team provide.”
Staff and students learnt about the journey Lee took to begin his career and whilst he demonstrated and offered advice. After each workshop, staff and students were given Lee Stafford products and Lee stayed behind to answer many questions and took the time to engage with all the students, inspiring them with his stories.
Following Lee’s Q and A session Acacia Stickells, Hairdressing Level 2 student said “Lee's visit was very cool, he is just so engaging, we loved him visiting the class and listening to his stories, it’s all so interesting and inspiring”.
