Students benefit from words of advice in guest workshop.
Josh first formed his TV Production company; Wilson Worldwide Productions, in 2013, with one of the main objectives to make the UK TV industry more inclusive- 80% of his full-time staff identify as black, Asian or minority ethnicity. With satellite offices in Toronto & Shanghai, as well as producing programmes such as ‘Mission Mudder’ and the upcoming ‘Chasing the Dream’ on sky, has firmly assisted Josh as one to watch on the Forbes 30 under 30 Entertainment list.
He attended the college to give a careers talk to the students, for them to be aware of the steps they could take to elevate their careers after completion of the course. Jack Appleford, Level 3 Film & TV Student, found the talk to be a memorable one commenting, “I felt Josh’s story was compelling and inspiring. He gave lots of valuable information about how an idea for a project like a TV series becomes a product, such as all the stages involved and the roles of people involved in the process.”
We would like to thank Josh Wilson for attending and passing on his words of wisdom, and hope Wilson Worldwide Productions continues to flourish in the ever growing media industry!
